Bodybuilding is the sport involving muscle enhancement. Despite the fact that there were several people who saw the need to extend the practice, bodybuilding competitions grew throughout 1950s and 1960s with a majority joining the sport and thus the popularization of muscle building which was relevant at the time as muscle training.
Due to the popularization of bodybuilding competitions it enhanced many men to take up the bodybuilding training and become part of this trend that was seemingly gaining a lot of popularity having been promoted largely by Thomas Edison through a number of films that he had made the previous years on the same. Bodybuilding competitions became particularly common and in the 1980s to 1990s, people had joined in the training to try and become notable on the fact that there was the need to how the body stature. Through out the 1970s, notable women had also joined in the training and women championships became common as well. The current bodybuilding competitions can be associated with the need for certain people to join in the procedure and portray their physical body appearance on the condition that they may get some money out of the entire process. With bodybuilding competitions becoming increasingly common, people seem to be in the situation that they would do anything to ensure that they win.
This particular motivation has rendered some aspiring bodybuilders get into the use of certain drug enhancement that could boost their muscle growth not realizing the dangers that they could in turn be portraying to each other.
